However when I compared what is available today, all the reviews pointed to Samsung. The largest and best Samsung I could find was the UN55C8000 55 inch HDTV. The TV was easy to mount with the picture hanger type mounting bracket(not included) over the mantle of my fireplace in the living room. The picture is beautiful. Also 3d works well. The internet functions work well and are easy to set up though you have to buy a Samsung Dongle to plug into a USB port on the TV if you want to receive wireless internet. The sound is good even without using a separate amplifier. Despite being a longtime Sony TV fan this TV has convinced me Samsung makes at.”
