LOOKS: This Samsung UN55C8000 TV looks just great. screen is dark and black. It looks so good off as on. worry about metal look, but look incredible.

the screen is fantastic. It is like HD to discover for the first time. This set replaces a Samsung DLP set, so this is obviously a huge improvement. That said, I have a newer plasma in the bedroom and this set looks much better than that. As with all new LED sets with 240 Hz, there is a bit of Spanish Soap Opera / home video look to it. Some people really like this, some people do not. I really like it. For those of you who do not, you can always broken down or off. For me, this makes the picture very clear and it makes it stand out from the other sets.

3D: UN55C8000 TV dropping 3D action through Samsung’s sleek Active Glasses (sold separately). These glasses use a shutter technique to quickly block the left eye, and then the right, in sync with the TV which itself is alternating left and right images rapidly. not use much 3D, but when use it look great.

OnlineTV: This is a whole new area for me. I’ve never understood the need for me to want apps on my TV … But its really cool Kina. I’ve tried a few apps, but my favorite is by far the Pandora app. I’m a big fan of Pandora and I actually like this app better than my TV online or iPhone.

Overall, I am very satisfied with the UN55C8000. Even with the few drawbacks, this set of the average Joe is a clear 5 stars! If I spend more time with the set, I will definitely update this review if I find something worth mentioning.
