People learned to adore the growing number of 3d movies that invade the theaters each month. This is good news for the people behind the production of such movies. A number of people going to the theaters just to be able to watch the 3d movies mean a big amount of money for them! Because of this, there is just no wonder why the 3d movie list is getting longer and longer each passing year. Now speaking of the 3D movies list, it is always better and more informative if the movies there are ranked according to their quality and impact. The following could be our criteria for judging.

The Storyline

We must not just let the utilization of 3D technology to be the only basis for a movie’s goodness. Besides, we are creating a comparison of 3d movies so saying that the movie is good because it is 3D is somewhat irrelevant. Always see to it that you take a look at the way the story is told—how it unfolds and how it ends. Is the flow so predictable? Does it have the so called originality? Does it make you think? These should be the question that we should be asking to ourselves. After all, the film’s story is perhaps the most significant element of all. It could be considered the most basic. Without it, nothing will be seen and there will be nothing for the actors and actresses to give life to. So it really has to be good and worth the hour or so of attention.

The Actors’ and Actresses’ Performances

Now, the story would be nothing if the actors and actrresses cannot portray their roles very well. Bear in mind that most films are not making use of narrations to help the viewers understand. Hence, we have to rely in the conversations between characters, on the artists’ expressions and gestures in order for us to understand the flow. Hence, they really have to have faces that are expressive, voices that change intonations depending on the portrayed emotion, and they should be able to put life to the role they are playing. Of course this isn’t for the sake of grabbing the best actor or best actress trophy. This is for the sake of the viewers getting the point of what we are watching.

The Cinematography

Of course, always be conscious of where the camera focuses its lenses. Are we given the right perspective? Does the camera position help us understand the story better or just cause confusion? Now, all movies might be very good at this. However, we could not just take this for granted because this is really very important. Who knows? Someone out there may find the camera positioning of a certain movie to annoying or too shaky that it dampens his or her mood all through out.

Now, the three criteria that we gave are just the ones that we think are the most important. Of course, you are welcome to omit something or add another, as long as we have concrete basis for the rankings that we have in our 3d movie list.

Things To Consider In Making A 3D Movie Review

July 21st, 2010 by admin | No Comments | Filed in How to copy DVD movies

We as the paying viewers are somewhat entitled to give comments on anything presented to us in a manner most comfortable to us. And the films, be it 3d or from the ordinary movies list, are not to be exempted. So, don’t hesitate to air your views on how a certain movie is created, how the actors and actresses there portrayed their roles, and even on how the story itself unfolds. Though in some cases what we have in mind could hurt those who are behind the existence of a certain movie, our thoughts could be very helpful to them. They could help them grow up and make modifications to the ways they move around the artistic field of movie making.

However, there are things that you must have knowledge of when planning to make a movie review. First would be a very simple task of knowing what movie genre really fits your taste. Of course, not all genres would be pleasing to you. Hence, if you really don’t like horror films, then don’t even try to make a review of one. It would be a waste of your time and energy. Adding to that, it will not be that helpful to any person too. After all, how can something that has been disliked in the first place be viewed in way that bias is kept out of the way? Bear in mind that it is really significant that you and the movie that you are writing a review of are on the same page. By this, we simply mean that you have the right background and knowledge about the movie’s genre so that you will be able to make evaluations in a constructive manner.

The second would be another simple task of not letting others influence over your evaluations. Take the 3d movie Avatar for example. If you are to write a movie review about it, don’t read other reviews in advance. What those reviews have to say may influence your perspective and you can’t be constructively critical of the movie anymore. This is because you may tend to focus your attention to the contents of the reviews you’ve read and where you should agree and disagree. If this is to the case, then don’t call your output a pure 3D Movie Review. It can be considered as some sort of argument paper that aims to prove or refute a prior statement.

Of course, this is not to say that reading other people’s reviews of a certain movie beforehand is not good. If you are just someone who wants to get an assurance that the movie that you’re going to watch is enjoyable, then there’s no stopping you. Read, read, and read. However, as stressed earlier, if you are to make a 3D Movie Review of any movie from the 3d movies list because you are required to do so or because you are trying to help those in the movie industry develop their skills, then try to keep your mind as clear as possible from the disturbances that could be caused by the opinion of others.

Taking A Peek At The 3D Movie Trailers

July 20th, 2010 by admin | No Comments | Filed in How to copy DVD movies

3D is really getting more and more famous each day. Because of this, the 3d movies list is really growing fast. Obviously, as more and more movie producers are making 3d movies, competition is quite tougher. Therefore, there is this very significant need to advertise the movies made.

There are a lot of ways to advertise a movie. One is through the widespread distribution of posters and other print ads. Usually, these ads are brightly colored and features familiar and famous faces. This is done so that it gets the attention of people even that of very busy passers by. Another way would the use of trailers. By definition, a trailer is a series of scenes from the movie shown in such a manner that the movie’s plot and storyline could be at least understood by the viewers.

Obviously, since this is a written article, we would not be able to show you samples of the 3d movie trailers. However, we will be giving you hints on how to find the best sources of trailers in the web. In addition to that, we will also mention some things about the trailer that you may find very interesting.

Now, really, when you talk about videos, Youtube.com is perhaps the first thing that comes to mind. And we cannot blame anyone for that. Youtube.com has been giving us with quality and really entertaining videos and trailers for about five years now, anyway. But when you look over this site, please know your responsibilities as a viewer. Don’t be a fan of those videos that are stepping on the copyright of others. Though it’s really hard to point the finger at the real culprits when it comes to such things, at least you know that you did your part and you viewed only those that are supposed to be viewed by the public.

Going to some interesting facts about the movie trailers, the term ‘trailer’ came about because trailers were originally shown right after a feature movie in the past. But, this set up did not prove to be that beneficial. This is because people leave the theaters the moment the credits start rolling on the screen. Since someone still shelled out a fortune just to have a trailer made and it would be such a waste if it would not be seen by the targeted audience, some changes were made and trailers are moved to be shown before the start of the feature film, especially now that 3d movies are starting to take the scene. Perhaps in this way, the producers get more assurance that somehow, their 3d movie trailers will be appreciated by the audience.

Speaking of appreciation, there are some organizations who really take trailers seriously. They really are giving awards to the best makers not just of 3d movie trailers, but of trailers of any kind. Hence, we could really say that trailer making is an art form in itself and that it is not that far from the artistic caliber of the movie that it is advertising.
