Exploring the deep sea has been made possible through the Wii. The graphics are truly amazing, as thousands upon thousands of fish and marine mammals and reptilian creatures swim around you during your dive. Not only will you get to experience a dive in the deep blue sea, but also in some of the most famous and scary rivers of the world, like the Amazon.
The games premise is that your professional diving team is in search of the origins of the tune that is heard underwater around the world. Human’s and marine animals are not enemies in this adventure, but become friends. Nintendo programmers have added three hundred species in the game, so prepare to be amazed. The Wii controller has made it possible for gamers to draw whatever they would like on the ocean floor. There are ways to have friendly encounters with sea creatures such as whistles and food to attract them. You can use an underwater camera to take pictures of anything you would like.
This video game also incorporates the use of Wii Speak, a microphone accessory for the Wii console that allows people in up to four differing locations to talk to each other via a VOIP (voice over internet protocol) utilizing Nintendo’s WiFi Connection. The small microphone sits on the top of your television screen. For about $30 US anyone can own a microphone to interact with other players. Voice messages can be left with any player anytime with the download of the Wii Speak channel. Using the microphone in Ocean Blue World adds a realistic view to deep sea diving
The developers of Endless Ocean Blue World wanted to create an experience that was more than lifelike. Imaginative views combined with scientific analysis has allowed for developers to create an exciting game.
